Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Management

About the workshop: 

Effective performance management is always important, but given the current economic climate, it takes on added significance. With workforce reductions, budget cuts, and small or no pay increases, enhancing productivity will be a difficult challenge for many managers. However, productivity is critical for growth and certainly a factor organizations can control. 

This workshop focuses on strengthening the business strategy-performance-reward linkage through better Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management. You will learn the skills necessary to assess your organization’s current approach, to performance and rewards, and how to better understand how to help your organization to improve its performance-orientation through the use of organizational and individual KPIs. You will also identify the design principles for linking performance and reward in the organization, and learn how to use tools to design a performance and reward framework.

About the facilitator
 
Daniel Mitchell is the ASEAN market development leader based in Singapore. With more than ten years experience helping organizations leverage the strength of their people to achieve success, Dan is an experienced consultant, facilitator and coach in the areas of learning & development, talent selection and retention, leadership development, performance assessment and coaching, general management, and performance improvement. 
 
Prior to working in Mercer, Dan spent nearly four years in Taiwan as a principal with an HR development company and an instructor in the management department of a reputable Taiwanese university. He also worked in various management and leadership positions with one of the world’s largest education companies in countries such as South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Dubai, Spain, and the United States. Dan has been a frequent guest speaker with various chambers of commerce and industry associations throughout greater China and southeast Asia, speaking on such topics as leadership, performance management, human resource development, change management, and other areas. Through his talks and business activities, he has also been featured in the Taipei Times, China Post, and TOPICS Magazine. 
 
Dan holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business (Hyderabad, India), has an MSc in HR Management from the City University of New York, Baruch College, and is currently a doctoral candidate in leadership development.
