Mr. Alain Cany is a French and Vietnamese dual national. He holds a BA in economic sciences from the University of Paris and was awarded Chevalier de la Legion d' Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honor) by the President of the Republic of France in 2002 and Officer of the French National Merit Order. He began his career at Credit Commercial de France, holding various executive positions in France before moving to Hong Kong in 1985. Mr. Alain became General Manager of CCF in Hong Kong in 1994 then moved to HSBC as the Head of European Business Development at the regional headquarters in Hong Kong. Later, he became the President and Chief Executive Officer for HSBC Vietnam for 4 years from 2003.

Mr. Alain has been the Group Country Chairman of Jardine Matheson Vietnam since August 2007 then became the Chief Representative and Senior Advisor of N.M Rothschild & Sons until August 2013. Since March 2017, he has been a member of the Board of Siam City Cement Vietnam (Ex Holcim) and starting from March 2018, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Vinamilk.

He was the Co-Chairman of the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) 2012-2014, representing foreign businesses. Also, Mr. Alain Cany was the Chairman of Eurocham Vietnam for 7 years from 2005 to 2012 and has been elected to Chairman of Eurocham since March 2021 and later been promoted as the Deputy Chairman of Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE) on 30th March 2021.

Mr. Alain Cany was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister on 6th January 2011 and received a Friendship Medal by the President of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam on 30th March 2011.

Mr. Vo Quang Hue is a leading Vietnamese expert and administrator in the automotive industry. After graduating with a manufacturing automobiles major and internal combustion engine in Germany, he worked for nearly 25 years at BMW and 10 years at Bosch, the world’s largest automotive supplier.

25 years ago, he successfully led the project of assembling and producing the first BMW products in Vietnam. He returned to Vietnam as the first CEO of Bosch Vietnam in 2007 and marked it with significant milestones. He developed Bosch to become the largest European investor in Vietnam with an auto parts factory in Dong Nai and a vocational training center with thousands of engineers in Ho Chi Minh City. For many years, he is a member of the Executive Board of the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) and the Vice President of the European Chamber of Commerce (Eurocham) in Vietnam.

His most impressive achievement is contributing to building the foundation for Vietnam's auto industry through the VinFast project. In 2017, he joined Vingroup as Deputy General Director of Vingroup and oversaw the manufacturing and trading of cars and motorbikes. Besides Vinfast Complex in Hai Phong, he also played an important part in developing and producing the first electric motorbikes and cars – Vinfast.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Thiet is well known as an experienced and passionate HR expert in Vietnam. After graduating from the National College of Education in Ho Chi Minh City in 1977, he began his career in educational management with the purpose to inspire and improve employee development. Nearly 20 years in the field of service management and production after graduating from the Open University HCMC – BA of Business Administration and General University HCMC – BSc of Chemistry Physic, he has helped bring the diversified knowledge and strong foundation to develop human capital management until now.

After graduating from university in Hanoi, Ms. Dam Bich Thuy co-founded a private foreign investment consultancy firm. It was the first privately owned company in Vietnam to facilitate foreign investment and advised clients such as ANZ, Phillip Morris, Coca Cola, IBM and Citibank.

In 1995, she graduated from Wharton and joined ANZ Singapore to help set up ANZ’s investment banking business in Asia. She held a number of positions in Singapore, including Director of Project Finance for oil and gas and chief of ANZ’s resources practice for the whole of Asia, then was appointed General Manager of ANZ Vietnam in 2005, making her the first Vietnamese national to lead an international bank’s operations in Vietnam. Most recently Ms. Thuy has served as Head, Group Development, Southeast Asia, at National Australia Bank in Singapore.

Ms. Thuy is currently the founding President of Fulbright University Vietnam, responsible for making the university a world-class academic institution and a bridge between Vietnam and the United States and the international community.
