RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support CFO to align accounting principles, practices and operating guidelines for the build and maintenance of platforms and execute the expense charge-out processes.
- Responsible for managing the closing process, reporting and variance analysis across Vietnam operations
- Collaborate with the other internal teams to provide support on the planning process, developing and managing cost-center, P&L, analytics of capital and opex expenditure and budget utilization.
- Manage finance and accounting matters, the preparation of annual audited accounts and coordination with Tax, Legal, Compliance on any such matters.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial books, records and reports, implementation of proper internal controls and any tool/financial database to support management financial view.
- Support CFO to hold regular finance governance meetings with regional management, resolve and tackle any local statutory and compliance requirement, and provide any external audit.

- Strong business acumen (life insurance and asset management businesses)

- Ability to deal with frequent changes in systems development requirement
- Strong at effectively handling multiple priorities under time and delivery pressures

- Proactive and resilient. Flexibility in learning new topics, handling change and deadlines.
- Communications with the auditors, tax consultants and taxation authorities, and regulators are also required for statutory audit and tax filing, as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University graduate in accounting and finance related discipline
- Qualified accountant with recognized professional accounting bodies
- 10+ years of related experience with at least 3 years in managerial roles, preferably within the life insurance industry
- Excellent knowledge of accounting for systems implementations and large capital projects
- Good working knowledge of various accounting principles
- Strong computer skills, advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
