Restricted Substance & Physical Testing Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure RS and Physical test tasks of new developed styes are completed on time and meet with Crocs’ requirements to avoid future potential non-compliance issue.
• Execute RS and lab audit to minimize RS risk and ensure factories are following Crocs requirement to conduct material and final products tests.
• Drive factories and suppliers set up RS management system and implement it properly.

Primary Job Responsibility

• Write and review test specifications and define test items for new products.
• Review RS test reports and physical test reports to ensure the related tasks are completed on time and meet with Crocs’ requirements during development stage.
• Review and analysis RS testing reports and highlight issues/ potential problems.
• Follow through RS failures/ issues and corrective and preventive actions.
• Summarize the RS test status for each factory and provide management reports/ updates. 6. Provide support to manager on potential issues and follow ups.
• Conduct RS audit for suppliers and follow up corrective action plan.
• Follow up the regular or irregular test reports from factories and ensure the reports are submitted on time.
• Factory labs audit including testing facilities, lab staff operation, test reports checking and so on.
• Drive factory to execute RS related testing timely like ATP, BTP, quarterly FG tests, etc

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years work experience on RS and physical testing in footwear field.
• Proficiency in material and finished shoes’ physical property testing,
• Familiar with chemical test and regulations, good knowledge on potential RS risk material
• Familiar with footwear materials,good understanding of shoemaking process
• Good communication and problem solving
• Fluent English skill
• Diligent, responsible, team spirit at work.
