RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, foster and maintain strong relationships with designated account contacts, to cultivate the support of company strategy and products
- Act as key contact for targeted customer relationships to gain a deeper understanding of their business and business needs to co-develop customized value offers that build a successful and sustainable business partnership. Continually review account performance against business plans and seek regular feedback from account contacts on performance.
- Create product demand through direct calls, workshops, seminars, customer product presentations and training, technology transfer and product benefit communications with key account contacts
- Participate in micro-market campaign teams to provide input and develop channel related campaign tactics, monitor effectiveness and adjust as required.
- Collects relevant customer and competitive information, and communicates it to internal stakeholders as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree, plus a minimum of 5 years experience in agri-business industry especially in Flower, or related role
- Extensive experience in the Seeds market.
- Over 5 years of previous sales or marketing management experience
- Knowledge of key industry players and stakeholders, centers of influence, distribution, retailers, market structure and dynamics
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices
- Clear and effective decision-making, with an emphasis on a data-driven approach
- Understanding of best practice marketing plan development and an ability to coach team to develop a compelling campaign
