HCMC, 27th November, 2018 – The Organising Committee of the Vietnam HR Awards 2018 officially announced and awarded the 14 businesses with leading HR strategies.

HCMC, 27th November, 2018 – The Organising Committee of the Vietnam HR Awards 2018 officially announced and awarded the 14 businesses with leading HR strategies. This is the third season of the biennial award, co-organised by the Newspaper of Labour and Social Affairs and Talentnet, endorsed by the Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA). The award attracted over 200 applications from local and multi-national enterprises. With the theme Bold Reflection, the Vietnam HR Awards Ceremony 2018 brought with it a number of remarkable key highlights.

As part of the Vietnam HR Awards Ceremony 2018 programme, the seminar “Bold Reflection” kick-started the evening with fresh perspectives, inspiring movements within the HR community. The event also looked closely at “untold stories” from successful local and multinational corporations, ultimately encouraging business leaders, as well as HR professionals to continually “look back” in order to strengthen and improve strategy, and unleash their growth potential in the new era.

Honouring & celebrating excellent HR strategies
After an arduous 6-month period of application, presentation, employee survey and on-site visit, 14 oustanding businesses were granted a total of 28 awards, including: two (02) Best Winning prizes, twenty four (24) categories, and two (2) Judge’s Choices awards. 

Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Acting Editor-in-Chief of the Newspaper of Labour and Social Affairs, discussed: “Aside from increased access and opportunities to implement new knowledge in data, processes, and artificial intelligence, the 4.0 technological revolution has posed a looming equation for Vietnamese businesses to solve – one concerning the competitiveness of the workforce. In that context, the Vietnam HR Awards stands as a pledge towards the future workforce.”

Vietnam HR Awards is an annual event with the aim of searching and honouring businesses with excellent HR strategies. The award officially kicked off nationally in August 2014. 
Vietnam HR Awards is co-organised by the Newspaper of Labour & Social Affairs (by the Ministry of Labour – Invalids & Social Affairs), and Talentnet, with standardised methodology from the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) – the largest human resources research institute in Singapore, with over 48 years’ experience in the field.
