The morning session took the spotlight in the panel discussion on “Future-Proof The Future: The Decoded New Playground”, which put forward unique insights on how to get businesses ready for the new playground where new trends and business models are sweeping across Vietnam and affecting businesses of every size.

Followed by the stimulating dialogue between Ms. Tieu Yen Trinh – CEO of Talentnet and Ms. Dam Bich Thuy – Founding President of Fulbright University Vietnam, the session has addressed key metrics of the visionary yet actionable CEO’s rulebooks, what CEOs expect the most from their HR partners, as well as what priorities they have in mind to unleash human potential and accelerate the development of new capabilities.

More in-depth themes were also explored in further sessions, delving into the new insights and skillsets that every leader needs to be future-ready and succeed in the age of disruption. The insightful topics revolved around workplace diversity management, the blend of high-tech and high-touch in leadership, tools and tactics to optimize employee experience to enable business efficiency. Ms. Melissa Nguyen – Country Head of Customer Solutions of Google Vietnam & Thailand, Ms. Kaya Qin of COO Lazada Vietnam, Mr. Neo Gim Siong Bennett – General Director of Sabeco were among the big figures sharing their extensive knowledge and experience during these sessions.

The exclusive event also brought together 2018’s recognized Vietnam HR Awards winners, spearheading case studies and success stories in their business development and transformation journeys. Companies such as Mobile World Investment, Fushan Technology, and Unilever Vietnam were part of a panel discussion on how they are reinventing their business models and processes to take advantage of new possibilities, and create an agile, thriving workforce to leap forward.
