RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, control & organize the operation of Accounting Department ensuring continuous, accurate and effective operation;
  • Monitor and mentor/train junior staff. Conduct all necessary training to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date;
  • Build accounting system, financial reports as regulated by Accounting Laws and SSC based on the structure and characteristics of business operations of the Company, compliance with financial accounting principles, fund management principles and other principles including but not limited to booking, ledgers, tax report, financial report, etc.
  • Be responsible for auditing, tax finalization, accounting activities of the Company related to other external organizations includes providing documents, files, accounting data (upon requested);
  • In charge of preparing work schedules, forms or documents, approving payment toward suppliers, control all procedures for Accounting division to apply for business activities of the Company; organize assets check; track and supervise the analysis and collection of financial information;
  • Timely provide all accounting information about business activities, revenues and expenses of the Company to the BOD as well as support BOD in problem solving with a timely manner and in the most effective way;
  • Ensure the legality, timeliness, and accuracy in making accounting records, calculating salaries, taxes, insurances, liabilities with investors, customers, banks and other entities and other business partners.
  • Participate in analyzing the Company business activities based on financial and accounting data in order to identify internal financial reserves, minimize expenses for the Company.
  • Provide financial forecast or solutions supporting BOD in preventing business risk or financial violations against the Laws. Participate in solving issues related to loss of Company’s assets. 
  • Provide support in seeking solutions to attract financial funds for the Company to ensure the stability of the budget.
  • To support BOD and other departments in concerns with accounting and taxation
  • To perform fully and accordingly to the assigned job position under the supervision and management of authorized persons and to perform any other tasks within the Accounting scope related to and assigned by the Company Board of Management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Other divisions of the Company: to cooperate and provide support during the implementation of  assigned task
  • Customers, current and potential investors: to maintain polite, professional manner according to the Company standards. 
  • Standard requirements: 
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, international studies or an advanced degree in related majors
    • Securities Certification preferred
    • Minimum 10 year experience in relevant experience in English-speaking environment.
    • At least 5 year experience as Chief Accountant at foreign investment companies, in the field of securities is preferred. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • High level of writing, especially business correspondence writing and note taking skills.
    • Honest, careful, strong attention to details and able to handle confidential matters.
    • Fluent written and spoken English level. 
    • Excellent organizational, communications and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to take initiative to arrange, manage and prioritize workflow as well as ability to work under pressure.
