Mold/ Tooling Manager for Hai Phong

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Supervises and leads the creation process of footwear bottom molds from blueprint, wooden/prototype molds, mold fabrication and testing in close coordination with dev-com teams, factory technicians, bottom materials team and production team
• Responsible for the assessment and confirmation of new mold shops as well as ensuring availability of enough mold shops to support Company regional operations
• Responsible for managing the inventory of production molds including regular assessment of their conditions. Will be responsible in proposing and managing needed repairs of the molds
• In charge and is responsible for ensuring mold cost quotations are reasonable and work with the mold shop how to be more cost-efficient
• Involved in the setting up and confirmation of molding cycle times in coordination with the dev-com and bottom material teams
• Provides technical support to production on productivity and quality issues relating to molds.
• Administrative and technical supervision of the mold team members.
• Do special assignments or projects as maybe assigned by superiors.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimally, should be specialized in shoe manufacturing and mold fabricating, graduated from professional school
