Senior Process Engineer (Chemical)

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Responsible for production yield, productivity, quality issues and expense control. Implement improvements for manufacturing operations in Front End, Assembly and System areas. Provide technical support to company and department projects towards cost saving, quality improvement, and capacity/capability expansion. Provide technical expertise in the field chemical and/or materials engineering for technical problem solving, process troubleshooting and qualification of new parts or new suppliers in the field of chemical and/or materials engineering.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bsc/Msc degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering
• Min 5 years of applicable experience in one or more of the fields of education listed above in a manufacturing environment.
• Capable of setting up manufacturing facilities, including equipment design, procurement, facilities, and training.
• Technical research and report skill
• Demonstrated ability of managing projects, coaching people and achieving results through working with others.
• Good knowledge of problem solving and process improvement.
• Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access data base, Email, internet access...
• Experience in process improvement, trouble shooting and equipment management.
• Ability to anticipate and handle multiple priorities and complex/abstract issues involving external and internal priorities under time constraints.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with differences of opinions, to influence and draw ideas from others, and to negotiate and mediate.
