HR Seminar At Amata

On the 9th of August, 2018, we had the pleasure of joining Amata as a keynote speaker at their seminar, discussing a number of issues in HR.

The seminar aimed to update key HR and administrative managers who are internal stakeholders of the Amata Industrial Park. With insights and current trends, the topics focused on what HR professionals can learn and do to improve talent strategy and work environment. Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu, Business Development Manager of Talentnet, discussed talent acquisition and management, while sharing practical stories and findings from her personal experience with over 100,000 managerial candidates in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Dr. Bill Collins from APT Clinic explained common health issues that often occur in the workplace, to raise awareness in both physical and mental health issues amongst staff.

The two main topics discussed during this event were:

1. Unveiling the blind spots in talent acquisition
   Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu – Business Development Manager, Executive Search & Selection Services, Talentnet
2. “Stress Reduction and Life Extension” and “Common Office Health Problems” (such as spinal degeneration, herniated discs, lower back pain)
   Dr. Bill Collins –  American Pain Treatment Center, APT Clinic

The seminar was well-received – the two topics provided insights and ignited conversations amongst attendees. The session will hopefully give attending HR professionals a direction in improving their employees’ work environment and talent acquisition strategy.
