Talentnet’s First Regional HR Tour Hits The Right Notes

Singapore, 25-27 October 2017, Talentnet Business Innovation Showcase (TBIS), a 3-day regional company tour to 6 award-winning companies, hosted by Talentnet under the theme “Cultivating growth through creative and proactive business and people management practices”, has provided opportunities for Vietnamese business leaders and HR heads to discover some of the best business and talent management strategies applied by Singapore-based companies including Cisco, Dimension Data, NatSteel, Sats, SAP and Sentosa.

This is Talentnet’s first-ever regional tour, in exclusive partnership with the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI), and has attracted more than 50 representatives from 28 local companies to participate. This journey has provided a networking platform where the Singaporean host companies showcased their success stories on how cultural and workplace transformation have positively impacted their business outcomes.

“This is an exclusive opportunity for business leaders in Vietnam to emerge with global leadership role. The diversity of industry and business model of host companies allows participating guests to grasp innovative initiatives for change and transformation. People strategy is always challenging and interesting at the same time. However, I believe that when business leaders and HR sit together and finding right answers for “why” questions instead of “what”, we could create stronger and better road-map to the agile workforce,” said Mr Le Tan Phuoc – CEO of Searefico.

“Exploring the holistic aspects of Human Resource Management, how Human Resources can play a critical role in shaping sustainable and professional business growth in Vietnam is also an aspect that Talentnet and SHRI want to deliver,” said Ms. Tieu Yen Trinh, CEO of Talentnet.

Ms. Nguyen Thi An Ha – Head of Marketing and Communications of Talentnet – Chief Organizer of TBIS said: “In the age of change, the HR landscape is one of the must-focus areas business leaders need to take into account before making decisions. The new trait of a 4.0 leader is to connect and develop people, and chances for regional outreach and growth should be delivered to each employee within the organization. 10 years working with so many business organizations in Vietnam, we understand that the key to a successful business comes with the “people culture”. The remarkable 10-year milestone has also encouraged us to come up with the idea of this regional company tour, to bridge the gap of people strategy in the disruption age between local and top global companies.”
